just when you think you have something down....

Just when you think, you have something down...It feels like we've been working on this newsletter for days! How does one consolidate all the crazy, fun, intense, things that happen in the first month of my very first salon, mixed with teaching color classes, raising a puppy and still learning to be a wife.
There's "so much to do and so little time!" I know, such a cliche yet I had nothing left to reference the intensity of the past month.
When does one stop anymore to "smell the roses?" And yet another one I bet you haven't heard before!
Who needs sleep? I remember always waiting until the last minute to study for that test or report in high school that I was WELL informed of months in advance... "Somethings never change..."
We fill our schedules with appointments, parties, work, lunches, prepping meals, taking the time to eat those meals, working out to de-stress ourselves from our busy lifestyles and growing bellies from our busy schedules and meals we've partaken in.
As we lay in our beds at night, we wonder what else we "could've/should've," marked off our lists today!?!? AhhHHH, the urgency of life!! When we all know, that very list will be "there tomorrow" along with a few things you NEED to pick up from the store because someone used all the eggs and drank all that milk you just bought!
This morning, we stopped to commit into His hands the day that waited before us. The list isn't finished... Marked a few things off, YES! The best part of it all was I made someone smile. "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!"

Lenny's inspiration.

Time to be real.
Real about all that life has to offer,
All that we wished we took hold of and what we push ourselves to take hold of today.
What is it that pushes  you to run that extra mile?
How far will you go to make that phone call to see that person you haven't seen in awhile?
Life is filled with many obstacles that make me realize as the days continue to pass,
just how strong our parents were to not let us see they pushed that final dollar to last.
In times we thought we'd never see,
Do we stop to embrace the time we have to REALLy be free?
My friend, I ask of you only one thing...
Push for this life is meant to be lived so you would be set free. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgcIXLOknWQ
